Troy Sciumbato – Owner

I am a proud Veteran of the United States Army and a retired public servant of the United States Government. I spent six years in the Army and was fortunate to travel to different parts of the world and truly feel my time in service helped me grow in many ways, some of the best and educating times of my life. Honorably discharged I started working with my family in the roofing business and then pursued a career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons performing duties in corrections, tactical, fleet, hazmat, contracting, maintenance… the list goes on and on. Corrections is a tough job and you see things most people can’t imagine. But there’s another side to corrections which is rehabilitation. Some truly want to turn their lives around and I did my best to provide them with skills they could carry with them when they are reintroduced back into society. Working within the Facilities Department, which handles all maintenance and repairs of the facility, you are afforded the opportunity to help those that want to learn skills to take back into society and support themselves and their families by teaching them the trades of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, automotive, powerhouse operations and general maintenance. The last half of my career I spent in supervising the facilities department where I supervised all maintenance performed at prison complexes and was responsible for the staff and inmates that provide these services. After spending 25 years serving and having the option to retire at a young age, I took advantage and decided to retire and take all of my construction and mechanical systems background and start a Home Inspection business which allows me to apply my knowledge and still help people along the way.
